LA SED’s Administrative and Family Service Center offers a wide range of programs and houses a variety of service agencies.  Our staff assesses the needs of the individuals and strives to provide them with assistance to resolve their particular need

Social, economic, and educational advocacy

economic advocacy accounts for the material and financial resources and other basic needs in safety planning and strategies.

Translation & interpretation

the translation is only the difference in the medium: the interpreter translates orally, while a translator interprets written text.

DHS Consultations

 The DHS Tribal Consultation Policy is intended to be continually updated and refined to reflect our ongoing engagement and collaboration with Tribal partners.

Social Security services and assistance

Check on your earnings record;

Apply for Social Security benefits, SSI, hospital insurance protection, and extra help with Medicare prescription drug costs;

Secretary of State-Licensing Services

The Licensing Division is responsible for determining eligibility for examination and licensure, monitoring the licensee's compliance with continuing education requirements.

Citizenship and ESL Classes

Naturalization is an important milestone in the path toward U.S. citizenship. The decision to apply for citizenship is a very personal one

Emergency food & shelter referrals

EFSP aligns with overarching federal strategies to meet the needs of hungry and homeless people.

Information and Referral

Community Information Services (Information and Referral) provides Soldiers and Families with timely, comprehensive information on both military and community resources that will assist in meeting basic needs and improve quality of life

Immigration and Legal Consultations

An immigration consultant is an individual who provides assistance to immigrants. This assistance can be with filing applications, filing a petition, gathering the required documentation for their application, or helping to find a translator.
